Local Girl Scout Cadette Troop 1632 recently hosted the Girl Scout Service Unit 43 World Thinking Day observance at Community United Methodist Church in Crofton. More than 200 Girl Scouts aged 5-16 years and their leaders attended.

The Blizzard of 2010 may have delayed this event, but more than 250 people were able to come to the rescheduled Basket Bingo Night for Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church.

The set is being made, the costumes sewed, and the dances learned as over 100 students from Crofton Middle School prepare to present Hello, Dolly! for the community next month.

In a quaint brick home with a sprawling acre of land located right off of Route 2 at the Calvert County line, you can find children from across Maryland gathering to play, communicate, and learn. You would also find parents, chatting about their week, providing advice, and helping each other understand that they are not alone.

Wow! We have some pretty creative folks who are entering the Suburban Scene Snowman Contest!  After the winds die down and the walkways are taken care of, let's see what you can come up with!
