Despite Mother Nature’s interference, the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department held their annual open house this past weekend – it was just a little more confined.
When local martial arts instructor Chien Vuong was a kid, he was small for his age and the perfect target for bullies. He grew up to be a successful martial arts expert and business owner. But one of his most important goals was to use his experience with bullying in a positive way.
An annual local tradition continues as the Crofton Kiwanis Club announces their 2009 holiday ornaments have arrived and are available for sale. This year’s ornament features another familiar local scene – the beautiful azaleas in bloom at Crofton Town Hall.
