You couldn't help but get in the holiday spirit at the South River High School PTSO's recent Holiday Craft Fair. From holiday ornaments, to jewelry and candles there was something for every shopper.

Local preschoolers and their special guests were provided a chance to celebrate giving thanks at the Crofton Library's annual Thanksgiving program last week.

It was a night of great deals for the attendees of this year's Crofton Kiwanis' annual charity auction. Hundreds attended the event, the largest fundraiser for the local group.

A sold out crowd honored those in the community whose efforts and hard work have improved the lives of local residents at the Celebrate Community Awards Dinner sponsored by the West County Chamber of Commerce. The event was held at the BWI Marriott.

Healthy eating makes for healthy families, and the Arundel Middle School PTA is spreading that message for their community. Recently the group won a National PTA grant to sponsor an event that promoted the idea of fitness and nutrition and its important to student success.
