Crofton's Charity Golf Tourney 2010

The Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce, along with TLC, Inc. and the Crofton Kiwanis Club, recently sponsored the annual Dave Espie Charity Golf Tournament at the Crofton Country Club. Over 120 golfers participated, and all proceeds will go towards the Arundel Volunteer Fire Department and the Crofton Caring Council.

On hand to celebrate the cause were the family of Dave Espie, a longtime Kiwanian and coordinator of the annual tournament for a number of years. Members of the Ravens cheerleaders were also in attendance, signing autographs, helping to sell extra fundraising items, and cheering golfers on as they took to the greens.

"We were so glad the rain decided to hold off," said GCCC Executive Director Judy Wilson. "Everyone always has a great time at this event, especially because it is going to such worthy causes."
