Crofton Town Club's Craft Fair

Community Turns Out for Familiar Craft Fair
From homemade jewelry to floral arrangements and art pieces, attendees at the Crofton Town Club’s fall craft fair had a great variety of items for their shopping pleasure. The event was held on Saturday near the grounds of the Crofton Country Club off Crofton Parkway.
“We have a lot of new vendors this year,” said Town Club president Ashley Fuchs. “We also advertised a lot more to really encourage the surrounding communities to come on out to this familiar Crofton event.”
Proceeds from the craft fair are given directly to local charities.
Community organizations were there to sell and distribute items. The Greater Crofton Chamber of Commerce provided attendees with bags of goodies from local vendors as well as their new community directory. The Crofton Kiwanis members were selling their new, as well as past, holiday ornaments.
Various churches were also participating, including selling works of art for Community United Methodist’s Zimbabwe mission and a bake sale for St. Paul Lutheran’s charity work.
Next door, at the Prince of Peace Presbyterian Church was having their annual yard and bake sale to raise money for their mission projects. The Arundel Volunteer Fire Department were also on the grounds selling their pit beef favorites to an appreciative crowd. Across the street in the Village Green, the boy scouts of Troop 758 sold out of their chicken dinners, achieving their fundraising goal.
The Town Club’s next events include a night of psychic readings and a ghost tour and pub crawl in Annapolis. Interested residents can come to one event free if you are considering joining the club. For more information, go to the Town Club’s website at www.croftontownclub.com.
